Notice to foreign and regional media

Notice to foreign and regional media:

Access to Reg Keys is now severely limited. If foreign or UK regional (other
than northern or north-eastern) media want to follow Reg while he is meeting
voters you must phone me, Jane Mayes (and NOT the office) and NOT before
10am, on the day you are in the constituency.

You will then be told where he is but only on condition that you do NOT
interrupt his work. Today we had the unfortunate situation where he kindly
took time out from meeting voters to speak to camera; when one of his
workers called him to speak to a voter they were told by the crew to shut up
and go away. Or something like that.

You will see that this is entirely unacceptable and also reflects badly on
our profession, so access has been restricted.
